  • Day 1: Thursday – Welcome

    Welcome to our trullo. Once you’ve settled in, we’ll head out together to explore the charming town of Ceglie Messapica. Take a relaxed stroll, enjoy an aperitivo, and have dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants.

    Day 2: Friday – Pasta Day

    After a leisurely breakfast, it’s time to roll up your sleeves! You’ll join us for a hands-on pasta-making workshop where you’ll learn to make orecchiette and taralli. We’ll sit down together to enjoy the dishes you’ve created for lunch.
    Later, we’ll return to the trullo for a relaxed evening and a homemade dinner.

    Day 3: Saturday – Market Day

    We’ll start the day with breakfast, then head to the lively Saturday market in Ostuni.
    In the afternoon, you’ll join a cooking workshop to prepare some classic Puglian dishes. Dinner will be served back at the trullo, featuring the meals we’ve prepared together.

    Day 4: Sunday – Countryside & Seaside

    After breakfast, we’ll set off to explore the picturesque Puglian countryside. Midday, you’ll enjoy a leisurely lunch by the seaside.
    The afternoon is yours to do as you like—relax at the trullo or explore more of the area. We’ll come back together for a dinner at home.

    Day 5: Monday – Masseria Visit, Pizza & Wine

    Today, we’ll visit a traditional masseria, where you’ll see how mozzarella and other local cheeses are made.
    In the evening, you’ll learn to make authentic pizzas using the trullo’s wood-fired oven. Together, we’ll celebrate the end of this cooking experience with a wine tasting and the pizzas you’ve created yourself!

    Day 6: Tuesday: Departure Day

    Enjoy a final breakfast together before saying our goodbyes.

    All excursions and workshops are optional.

    What is the room layout?

    The trullo has four bedrooms: two spacious twin rooms, one smaller double room, and one single room. There are three bathrooms shared between the rooms.

    Will I share a room?

    During the cooking experience, some guests may stay in a twin bedroom shared with one other participant. Each guest has their own bed.

    We recommend that guests rent a car (or share a rental), as this offers the most flexibility. While private transport isn’t included, it can be arranged on request add an additional cost.

    Full refund for cancellations made more than 60 days before arrival.

  • Do I need cooking experience?

    No. The experience is suitable for beginners and enthusiastic home cooks alike.

    How many people are in a group?

    We host small groups of up to 6 participants to ensure a personal and hands-on experience.

    What is included?

    The program includes accommodation, cooking sessions, excursions, market visits, wine tastings, and most meals.

    Where will I stay?

    Guests stay at Trullo Fiorone, a traditional trullo in the countryside near Ostuni.

    What is the room layout?

    The trullo accommodates up to 8 guests across four bedrooms: two spacious twin rooms, one smaller double room, and one single room. There are three bathrooms shared between the rooms. As a historic home, the layout is cozy and sometimes interconnected, while each guest has a private sleeping space.

    Will I share a room?

    During the cooking experience, some guests may stay in a twin bedroom shared with one other participant. Each guest has their own bed.

    Can I have my own room?

    There is a limited availability for a single room, due to the set up of the trullo.

    Is a car required?

    We recommend renting a car to explore the area. If needed, transportation can be arranged at an additional cost.

    Can dietary requirements be accommodated?

    Yes. Please inform us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate allergies or preferences.

    What will we cook?

    You will prepare traditional Puglian dishes such as fresh pasta, focaccia, mozzarella, antipasti, and wood-fired pizza.

    Is there free time?

    Yes. The schedule includes free time to relax, explore nearby towns, or enjoy the countryside.

    What are the payment and cancellation terms?

    A deposit is required to confirm your booking. Full details are provided during the booking process.

    Travel planning

    The nearest airports are Brindisi (approx. 35 minutes) and Bari (approx. 1.5 hours).
